	*Josephus, the Complete Works* ISBN 0-8254-2951-X - A Jewish Historian who covers the range of Jewish History form Biblical times through the early messianic years. Written around the time period of the destruction of the holy temple in Jerusalem (70CE) in Greek and translated into English by William Wiston. Highly recommended
	*The Jewish Timelines Encyclopedia* by Kantor ISBN 0-87668-229-8 - Ever wish you could look up a year in history and see what happened there? This little book packs a lot of Jewish history into a very small space. An excellent resource for history students and biblical scholars alike.
	*Jewish History in 100 Nutshells* by Paschoff and Litman ISBN 1-56821-886-9 - Gives the 100 most significant historical events in Jewish history, from father Abraham through current times, in a very concise, easy to read, way.
	*A History of the Jews* by Johnson ISBN 0-06-091533-1 - A highly recommended book of Jewish history written by a non-Jewish author. It covers 4000 years of the history of the Jewish people. This book was part of the require reading for new converts to Judaism in the Conservative movement.
