Jewish Torah Study Aids

Words of Torah: A Collection of Divrei Torah by Young Israel Rabbis

Words of Torah ISBN 0-7657-6004-5 - A collection of Torah studies developed by leading rabbis of the National Council of Young Israel and covers a wide spectrum of thought.

cover Everyman's Talmud by Boaz Cohen ISBN 0-8052-0497-0 - A concise and orderly look at the Talmud. It is a surprisingly thorough look at the Talmud and mainline Jewish theology from the eyes of the early sages of Israel. Highly Recommended.
A Commentary on the New Testament from the Talmud and Hebraica (4 Vol. Set) Commentary on the New Testament from the Talmud and Hebraica by Lightfoot ISBN 0-943575 - A four volume set. It ties together some New Testament concepts with the Talmud. However, it is one of my less used resources. I definitely would not by this one first.
The Literature of the Sages: Oral Torah, Halakha, Mishna, Tosefta, Talmud, External Tractates (Compendia Rerum Iudaicarum Ad Novum Testament) Mishnaoth By Judaica Press ISBN 0-910818-2 - Six volumes plus an index. One of the smartest purchases I've made. Make certain you get the full set and not just volume one. I do not know the number for the whole set. There is a Hebrew block of text with English surrounding it. Footnotes are at the bottom of each mishanh (paragraph). I find the footnotes indispensable. Do not purchase the single volume Mishnah as it does not contain any footnotes.
